Who We Are

Medical Standards

Beverly Wilshire Aesthetics is a physician-owned medical spa in Beverly Hills, founded on a single conviction: permanence outperforms maintenance.

Every plan is designed and delivered under the direct supervision of Dr. Zarrini, MD. We do not chase trends, we do not oversell syringes, and we do not treat a face we have not assessed. Where a result can be built structurally, we build it. Where it cannot, we say so.

  • i.Injectables performed by a physician or physician-supervised medical injector — never a non-medical technician.
  • ii.Energy devices operated only by trained clinical staff with documented device certification.
  • iii.Written consent, medical history, and photographic baseline before any first treatment.
  • iv.FDA-cleared products sourced through authorized US distributors. No grey-market product. Ever.
  • v.Complication protocols on site, including hyaluronidase for filler reversal.

Objection Handling

Botox or filler — which do I actually need?

Botox relaxes the muscle that creates a line. Filler replaces volume that time removed. Movement lines (forehead, crow's feet, glabella) are neuromodulator territory; hollowing, flatness and structural descent are filler territory. Most faces need a small amount of both, sequenced — not a large amount of one.

How long will it last?

Neuromodulator: 3–4 months typically, longer as the muscle retrains over consecutive cycles. Hyaluronic acid filler: 9–18 months depending on product and placement. Sculptra: collagen built over a series can persist beyond two years.

Will I look overfilled?

At Beverly Wilshire Aesthetics Medical Spa we dose conservatively and stage across visits, because the fastest route to an unnatural face is treating it all in one sitting. If a face has already been overfilled elsewhere, we will discuss dissolving before adding.

How painful is it?

Topical numbing is standard, lidocaine is built into most fillers, and we use cannula technique where it reduces trauma. Most patients describe pressure rather than pain. Lip treatments include additional block options on request.

What about bruising and downtime?

Neuromodulator: return to your day immediately. Filler: mild swelling for 24–72 hours, occasional bruising for up to a week. We avoid scheduling filler inside ten days of a major event.

Is it reversible if I dislike it?

Hyaluronic acid fillers are dissolvable with hyaluronidase, which we keep on site. Neuromodulator is not reversible but is fully temporary. You are never locked into a result.

Technology & Recovery

What To Expect
How much downtime does each modality require?
IPL: pigment darkens then flakes over 5–7 days, makeup permitted at 24 hours. Microneedling: 24–48 hours of redness similar to a windburn. RF microneedling (Morpheus8): 2–4 days of pinpoint texture and swelling. Medium-depth peel: visible peeling days 3–6. We will tell you the real number before you book, not the brochure number.
How many sessions until I see the result?
Pigment and vascular correction often shows after one IPL. Collagen remodeling is biological, not instant — Morpheus8 and microneedling build over 8–12 weeks, with the full series typically three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart.
Is this safe for deeper skin tones?
Device selection is Fitzpatrick-dependent. RF microneedling and specific peel formulations are safe across the spectrum because the energy is not chromophore-targeted. Broadband light is restricted for higher Fitzpatrick types, and we will substitute rather than risk post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
What is the aftercare protocol?
Gentle cleanser, bland barrier repair, no actives (retinoid, AHA, vitamin C) for 5–7 days, mineral SPF 30+ daily and no direct sun exposure while healing. No sauna, steam, or heavy training for 48 hours. Every patient leaves with a written aftercare card and a direct line for questions.
Can I combine treatments in one visit?
Some combinations are synergistic — HydraFacial before an event, neuromodulator alongside a light peel. Others compete for the same healing bandwidth. We sequence rather than stack when the skin needs recovery in between.
What skincare do I need at home?
A medical-grade retinoid, a broad-spectrum mineral SPF, and a barrier-supporting moisturizer will outperform any twelve-step routine. In-clinic work compounds with home consistency; without it, results regress.
